No two people sleep alike. Each person’s sleeping positions are like a finger print, personally unique. What works for one person may not work for the next, and so on. Some people prefer to sleep in the dead center of themattress, and some would just as soon sleep on the rock hard floor than their ownmattress! Just like every person sleeps differently, each sleeping position has different benefits and drawbacks associated with it.
Why is sleep so important? The amount of sleep you get directly effects and influences your personal physical and mental health. Better sleep has been linked to an increase in productivity, cardiovascular health, and creativity. More sleep equals better reflexes and higher brain stabilization, it’s simple! Even more important than how much sleep you are getting is the quality of your sleep. Some people may sleep for eight or nine hours a day, but still leave theirmattressfeeling restless or tired. In today’s fast pace world, many individuals find themselves struggling to stay ahead in their job, family, or school.
Many Americans are hooked on the same thing, caffeine. For some, it is borderline impossible to function without it. Caffeine is what keeps us from flopping back on the mattress in the morning. For many, it is the part of their morning that energizes them and keeps them going throughout the day. No doubt there are individuals who would operate at a detriment to themselves as well as others without it. Several of these same people who enjoy the benefits of caffeine so much fail to see the downside of it. Caffeine is always in opposition and constantly locked in battle with one thing, and that is a good night sleep.
